Considering a second child as a solo mother by choice can bring up a complicated mix of emotions, questions, hopes, fears, logistics, and uncertainty.
This 3-week Exploration Group is a small support and discussion group designed specifically for SMBCs who are thoughtfully exploring that conversation. Together, we’ll create space for honest reflection and nuanced conversation around both the emotional and practical realities of expanding your family as a solo parent.
Over the course of three weeks, our conversations may explore topics such as:
Week 1: Emotional aspects of considering another child
Week 2: Practical considerations and family logistics
Week 3: Navigating uncertainty and thinking about next steps
Each week includes a live 60-minute group conversation, optional journal prompts, and access to a private WhatsApp group for connection between sessions.
