The Single Greatest Choice
Village Membership
The SGC Village is a community for women considering, pursuing, and living solo motherhood by choice.
Come for the practical support and real connection. Stay because this is where you learn how to trust yourself, meet uncertainty, and keep building a life that feels like your own.
The questions change. The need for support doesn’t.
Maybe you’re still deciding whether solo motherhood is the right path for you.
Maybe you’ve started trying and discovered that moving forward doesn’t make the grief, fear, or doubt disappear.
Maybe you’re pregnant and realizing that getting here was only the beginning.
Maybe you’re parenting and everyone assumes the hard part is over, while you’re still navigating identity, relationships, work, money, support, and what this life is asking of you now.
The Village is for all of it.
It is a place to keep growing, stay connected to yourself, and be around women who understand how much this path asks of you, especially when you're carrying it alone.
You don’t need another place to collect information.
You’ve researched the questions, listened to podcasts, made countless lists and spreadsheets, asked for opinions, and tried to think through every possible outcome.
The Village is where you go deeper than a podcast episode can take you.
Each month, we explore one area of life through the lens of nervous system safety, values, self-trust, and self-compassion, so you can better understand what is shaping your choices and stay connected to yourself when life feels uncertain.
This is not about finding the perfect answer.
It is about learning how to trust yourself when there isn’t one.
The work inside The Village is built on four foundations.
These ideas shape everything we explore throughout the year:
Nervous System Safety
Learning to stay present with what you feel without immediately trying to fix, avoid, or fight it.
Values Alignment
Making choices based on what matters most to you, rather than fear, pressure, or someone else’s expectations.
Seeing the Work
Recognizing that every path comes with its own challenges, so you can stop searching for the one “right” choice and decide what work you are willing to do to create the life you desire.
Self-Compassion
Responding to yourself with more kindness and less judgment when life feels hard, uncertain, or different than you expected.
The goal is not constant certainty. It is staying connected to yourself when certainty is not available.
Each month, we take the work somewhere new.
Throughout the year, we explore the parts of life this path touches, from identity and belonging to relationships, work, support, and enoughness.
The topic changes.
The goal doesn't: less gripping for certainty, more trusting yourself.

The Village is for you if...
You want a place where women can be honest about what is hard without making the hard part the whole story.
You want the practical answers, sure. But you also want to talk about who you're becoming through this, not just what donor to pick or how to afford it.
You want to be around women who understand that solo motherhood can be deeply fulfilling, but that doesn’t mean it’s not complicated.
You'd rather build the life than wait and see what happens to you.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Yes! The Village is for women at every point on the path, from considering solo motherhood, to trying to conceive, to pregnant or parenting. You do not need to have made a final decision before joining.
-
Many of our members are! Some member even have multiple children as a SMBC.
The monthly themes include identity, support, relationships, work, security, transitions, enoughness, and other areas that continue well beyond pregnancy and birth.
-
It really varies, and whatever amount of time you can dedicate will work!
Members can watch or listen to the monthly content, attend live calls, join conversations in the community, or use the resource library in whatever way fits their current season.
-
Members are invited to participate in at least four live calls each month, including two group coaching calls, one community connection call, and a workshop led by a guest expert.
Members are also welcome to initiate calls within the community.
-
The Village is hosted in Circle, a private online platform available on desktop and through the Circle app.
-
Most live calls take place on weekdays between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. CT, usually during the lunch-hour window.
I know that timing will not work for everyone. Group coaching and guest expert workshops are recorded, and members regularly continue the conversation by commenting on the recordings afterward.
Community calls are not recorded because they’re simply a space to connect and get to know one another, and recording that would feel a little strange.
Members can also host their own gatherings at times that work for them, including several evening calls in U.S. time zones.
You don’t have to wait for the next hard season to find your people.
The Village is here for the questions, changes, growth, and ordinary life happening all along the way.
